Jill Shook
Jill A. Shook, 73, of Muse, died Wednesday, January 27,
2021.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as an elementary teacher at several elementary schools in the Canon-McMillan School District. She was president of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Council in Canonsburg; a member of the Canonsburg Ministerial Association, she served on several SWPA Synod committees, and was a member of the Canonsburg Business and Professional Women's Organization. She volunteered for the Community Scholarship Foundation of Canon-McMillan and since 2019 she was the president of directors of Camp Agape. She was proud of being a part of her community, and was an active member of numerous civic and social organizations in Canonsburg.
Surviving are her niece and godchild, Raquel Gilpin, of Canonsburg; her niece, Cherisse Sachs, of Cranberry Twp., her nephew, Ralph (Noemi) Abbondanza, of Herndon, Virginia; great nephew, Aaron Gilpin, and great nieces, Aaliyah Gilpin, and Isabella Abbondanza. She will be sorely missed by her precious, furry companion, Harley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond C. Shook, Jr.
Due to uncertainties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation and services are private. A live Zoom service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. Please visit the website, www.PlumofPA.com for further instructions. Burial will be in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
