We have recently learned of a new SCAM, where someone - who pretends to be one of our pastors - calls or emails congregation members asking for CASH or GIFT CARDS.  The pastors will NEVER ask directly for gift cards or money.  If in any doubt, call that pastor directly, using the phone number provided on your church bulletin, your church directory or the PLUM website.  Real donation requests would only be in your church bulletin and would be announced in church.
